Our publishers, Lois Jean Brady and Matthew Guggemos, got asked this burning question by a subscriber and felt it too important not to share their thoughts.
This is a question so many parents can relate to. A great deal of limiting beliefs circulate out there about the capabilities of non-verbal people.
As Matthew points out, autistic people are people, and therefore have an almost infinite capacity for learning.
Please watch and share your thoughts! Do you have a non-verbal child? Are you non-verbal yourself? We'd love to hear from you.
